About 10 minutes later a couple of eagles are spotted on some rocks. American bald eagles to be exact. The skipper quickly slows down the boat and moves it into the optimum photo distance for his guests...

Two Bald Eagles perched on rocks.

As the inflatable drifts and photos are being taken, one of the Eagles seems intent upon a movement in the water. With amazing grace it hurtles into the air toward its prey...

While everyone is still gaping in awe at the previous sight, the skipper pipes in,"Now that everyone has taken their photos lets move on to the Gray Whales. Oh, and keep those cameras out, we should see some Sea Lions just before we reach the whales."
